Climate in vintage year
|
2019 — cold spring before hot summer and autumn with temperatures higher then average. Podravje area, unlike the rest of Slovenia, was not affected by hail. Wineries were able to start harvesting three weeks later than in 2018, in cooler weather, allowing the berries to pick up more aromatic hydrocarbons and produce brightly acidic wines with growth potential.

orange peel, white apples, nutmeg taste, pleasant notes of herbs, and a creamy bitterness as the medium-bodied taste. Delicate aftertaste.
